Ideas under consideration

A small look at ideas we are exploring around taste learning, ranking, profile pages, and outfit creation. These are early experiments, not promised releases.

Early ideas only. Some of this may change heavily, get renamed, merge into another release, or never ship at all.

Exploring

  • Robin Rank: a pairwise ranking flow where you compare saved pieces so Favora can understand what you prefer inside a collection.
  • A pairing experiment for comparing two pieces or looks at a time, so preference signals can come from simple choices instead of long setup forms.
  • Collection ranking results that could help turn quick either-or choices into a clearer order of favorites.
  • A taste profile page concept that could make Favora's understanding of your style easier to review and refine.
  • A full cart concept for collecting multiple pieces before deciding what to buy or revisit.
  • An outfit builder experiment for assembling saved pieces into looks and generating lightweight look images.

Not final

  • These ideas are prototypes from active branches, not App Store release notes.
  • The final product may use different names, different interaction patterns, or no public version at all.
  • We are sharing them here as roadmap direction, not as a commitment.

Sales, size filters, and a faster Favora

Available now in private preview, with general availability expected today pending App Store approval. This release gathers everything since version 2.42: a new home for sales, size filtering across every brand, cleaner collections, faster starts, and reliability improvements throughout the app.

Open July Release W29

What's new

  • The new Sales tab brings discounted pieces together in one dedicated place.
  • For You finds sale items from pieces you have saved and styles that feel similar.
  • All lets you browse the wider sale catalog, led by the biggest discounts.
  • Choose your size once to filter matching pieces across every brand at the same time.
  • Filters help you narrow sales by category, brand, price, discount, and more.
  • Recently viewed brand shelves now show when that brand has pieces on sale.

Improved

  • Favora can suggest moving unavailable pieces to the end of a collection, keeping items you can still shop easier to reach.
  • Signed-in starts do less duplicate loading, while cached content stays visible during refreshes.
  • Invite-code entry gives clearer, more consistent feedback as you type.
  • Signing out or switching accounts clears cached data more reliably.
  • Swipe between your personal edit and all sale items without leaving the tab.
  • Pull to refresh For You when you want a different mix of recommendations.
  • The Sales header and controls stay close at hand while you browse.

Fixed

  • Browse and bottom navigation stay visible more reliably across the app.
  • Size filters now appear for every shoe category.
  • Arket product images load more reliably.
  • Daily Picks titles stay on one line.
  • Price-alert prompts no longer interrupt Daily Picks.

Starter collections, invite codes, and clearer alerts

This release brings themed starter collections for new users, five invite codes to share with friends, clearer price and sale alerts, better collection context, and polish across daily picks and notifications.

Open July Release W28

What's new

  • Onboarding now includes themed starter collections such as Easy Everyday, Office Hours, and City Weekend, so new users can begin with ready-made wardrobe themes.
  • Users now receive five invite codes they can share with friends.
  • Collections can show brand summaries, making it easier to understand the mix of brands in a saved collection before opening every item.
  • Product pages now introduce price alerts more clearly, so you know when Favora can watch an item for price drops or availability changes.
  • Collections can now explain sale alerts and let you review alert settings for items saved inside that collection.

Changed

  • Onboarding now walks you through saving curated picks for your collections before you reach the home screen, with a short save-or-skip tutorial and brand follows along the way.
  • The notifications prompt in onboarding now comes last, with previews of daily picks, price drops, and restocks.
  • Daily pick notifications now focus more on the full edit, with messages that can mention relevant brands, new arrivals, sale signals, and back-in-stock items from your picks.
  • Price alerts now keep track of whether they came from a product action or a collection, so collection alerts and alerts you set yourself stay separate.

Fixed

  • Daily picks now show the Continue action when you reopen a partially completed set.
  • Daily pick layouts stay better contained around the top banner.
  • Notifications are marked as read more reliably when the app restores your session after a cold start.
  • Daily pick notification titles now avoid overly long personalised greetings.
  • Notification previews now use the referenced item image more reliably.
  • The All Saved grid scrolls more smoothly for larger wardrobes.

Daily urgency badges, smoother saved collections, and image previews

These App Store builds belong to the same release window: 2.30.0 brought the larger card, saved-collection, and availability updates, while 2.32.2 adds the visible daily-pick urgency badge.

Open July Release W28

What's new

  • Daily picks can now show urgency badges when an item has a time-sensitive signal.

Also included

  • Product cards now support swipeable image previews. Swipe left or right on a card to browse more photos before opening the product detail page.
  • When an item is no longer available, Favora can now show similar recommendations so you still have alternatives to explore.
  • Tap the current home tab to quickly jump back to the top of your feed.
  • Product previews now use more of the available product imagery, making it easier to understand an item before you open it.

Improved

  • Saved collections now paginate correctly, so larger wardrobes can load beyond the first set of items.
  • Collection pages now keep a cleaner gap around the back button header.
  • Product images load more reliably across onboarding, saved collections, and similar-product cards.
  • Product image performance is improved through broader use of optimized image proxies.
